This trio of ducks perfectly illustrates the primitive and naive spirit of these handcrafted and ethical works.

We will reveal the beautiful story behind this Zoo collection. In an Indonesian village where the art of working with local woods is strongly present, the mayor in an eco-design approach proposed to the artisans wishing to earn additional income to create these animals from bamboo roots as well as from wood scraps such as teak or mindi. 

Each sculpture is handmade. Although made from a model, they are unique. The craftsman sketches the ducks taking into account the initial shape of the wood, the work on the root rhizomes ideally interpreting the feathers.

The ducks are made from a variety of materials, including teak and mindi.
